One record.
Wrist, pocket and desk.
ITTAS builds synchronised operations software for South African businesses. The work is captured where it happens, on the phone already in their pocket or a watch on their wrist, and settled on the Windows machine back at the office.

How the pieces fit
Four devices. One record.
The watch is on the wrist where the work is. The phone and tablet carry the detail. The Windows machine on the desk is where it becomes an invoice, a payroll line and a record that stands up. Nothing is retyped between them.

What changes
Against doing it by hand
Same forty people, same week. Paper registers and a spreadsheet, against the record captured on site.
Indicative of what we see in deployment, not a laboratory measurement. We would rather show you on your own site.
Why it is better, plainly
- More accurate. A tap on a wrist at the gate is a fact. A number written into a book at four o'clock is a memory, and memories drift in the employer's favour or the employee's, depending who is holding the pen.
- Faster. Two seconds on site, against a supervisor collecting sheets, a clerk retyping them, and somebody chasing the three that went missing.
- Better presented. The same record comes out as a roster, a payroll export and a compliant attendance register, without anybody reformatting anything.
- Harder to dispute. Time, place and person, captured together, so a disagreement about a shift is settled by looking rather than arguing.
- Kinder to the team. Staff see their own hours and earnings as they accrue, which is usually the first time anyone has shown them.
Everything we do
Six things, done fully.
Tap any one to open it. Nothing here is passed to someone you have never met.
R2 700 for a half day, up to eight people. R450 per extra head. Included quarterly at Partner tier, monthly at Principal.
R1 260 for the first machine, R630 each thereafter, minimum of three. Included on site at Principal tier.
R360 a month, web and email together.
R18 per mailbox, minimum of ten, so R180 a month. Prepay six months for R900, or twelve for R1 800.
R450 each, or R720 for all three together.
The position
Projects end.
Operations do not.
Most suppliers sell you a thing and leave. We would rather run the system with you, because software only becomes accurate once it has seen a full year of your actual business: your pricing, your customers, your slow months.
So we do not sell projects. We contract for a term, at a partner rate, and the system gets better every month it is running.

ITTAS Thread™
The work happens on site. The proof should too.
A record written back at the office an hour later is not a record, it is a recollection. Thread captures it where and when it happens, on whatever device is already on the person.
Band, the watch
Tap in, tap out, confirm a job done, raise a panic. Under two seconds, no unlock, no typing.
The wrist is the only place a notification reaches someone whose hands are full: a driver, a technician, a guard, a nurse. A worn device is also the closest thing you get to proof that a particular person was actually there. It knows where it is, it buzzes hard enough to be noticed, and it costs a fraction of what a rugged handheld costs.
Most deployments start on the phones your people already carry, with a tag at each post to tap. The watch is the upgrade for work where two seconds matters and hands are full, and you can buy one outright or lease it.
Carry, phone and tablet
The detail of the job: photographs, signatures, forms, checklists, stock movements.
Everything is written to the device first, so a basement, a farm or a load-shedding hour changes nothing. It reconciles itself when signal returns, with nothing lost and nothing entered twice.
Desk, the Windows console
Where the business sees it. Roster, approve, handle the exceptions, raise the invoice, export the payroll hours.
And produce the Basic Conditions of Employment Act attendance register that an inspector can read without an argument. Section 31 requires the time worked by every employee to be recorded, kept for three years, and produced on demand.
Try it
Take the signal away.
This is the part most software gets wrong here. Switch the signal off and watch the record, then switch it back on.

At the office
Everything captured is reaching the office as it happens.
Software you open because you have to.
We only build a module when there is something in your business that genuinely has to happen again tomorrow. Dashboards people mean to look at get ignored within a fortnight. These do not.
The app your staff keep
Every person on a Thread site gets a free app of their own: their shift record, their earnings so far this month, and a verified history of the work they have done. It stays theirs, even if they leave you.
Staff use a clocking system properly when it is the thing that guarantees their pay is right. That is the whole trick, and there is nothing clever about it.
Built for South African conditions
Patchy coverage. Load-shedding. Prepaid data that costs the person holding the phone real money. Most international software assumes none of that and falls over here.
Thread writes to the device first and always. Nothing needs signal to be captured, only to be caught up.
The layer across all three
Veda
Veda is the intelligence sitting on top of everything Thread records. A one-screen brief on what actually happened today. A flag when a site was missed, a shift ran long, or a number moved in a way it should not have. An answer to a customer before they give up and phone someone else.
Veda never sees anything you have not agreed to share, in writing, in advance.
If you would rather she were not called Veda, she does not have to be. We can build the same intelligence under your own name, with a character and a manner you choose, so your staff and your customers meet your brand rather than ours.

Worked example
A maintenance firm with twenty technicians
| Platform | R360 |
| 20 Field seats | R1 800 |
| Their own phones | R0 |
| Monthly, all in | R2 160 |
That is R108 a month per person for dispatched jobs, photographic proof, signatures, inspections and a compliant attendance register, on the phones they already carry. Plus R4 500 once to set it up.
Clocking only? A security firm with forty guards on Presence seats comes to R1 800 a month, which is R45 a person, plus R18 a post for the tags they tap. On a twenty-four month arrangement that falls to R1 314.

How we work
Useful software needs real data. Here is how we handle yours.
We do not sell projects, we contract for a term. The longer you are willing to work with us, the more of your business we are trusted with, and the more of it we can see, the better the system gets. The partner rate is what we pay for that trust.

Why a term, and not something you can leave in a week
Accuracy needs history.
A system that has watched three weeks of your business is guessing. One that has watched a year knows when your quiet month is.
Safety needs accountability.
A signed term means a named party is answerable for your information for a defined period. Worth more than any badge on a website.
Reliability needs presence.
Certificates expire, staff leave, records change. A partner still there in month eighteen is the difference between maintenance and archaeology.
Longer arrangements are available. Ask about the thirty-six month embedded agreement, 36% below standard, where one of our engineers works from your offices one day a week.
Everything in writing, first
A non-disclosure agreement before a single credential is shared, and a POPIA section 21 operator agreement from Partner tier upward. Under POPIA, not having that agreement in place is itself a contravention, whether or not anything ever goes wrong.
Your data stays your side where it can
We would rather install AI tooling on your own machines than upload your business to somebody else’s. It costs us more time and it is the right way round.
Least access, always
The narrowest permission that does the job, named accounts rather than shared ones, and every credential handed back at the end of the term.
Your staff know what is recorded
Where Thread records location, it is for a stated employment purpose, disclosed inside the app to the person wearing the device, and never sold or shared. A worker who trusts the watch is a worker who wears it.
You own what we build
Your design, your data and your branding remain yours throughout, and at the end of a Principal term the source code is released to you in full. We would rather you stayed because it works than because you were locked in.
Most of what business owners have been told about artificial intelligence is either sales material or panic. An hour of plain language fixes most of it, and it costs you nothing. We would rather you understood it than trusted us blindly.
Free, monthly
Public briefing
One hour, online. What a model actually is. Where it will confidently mislead you. Which of your data must never go near one, and what POPIA asks of you when you use it.

Hands on your own work
Run on your quotes, your mail and your spreadsheets rather than on a demonstration. Your people leave able to do the thing, not able to describe it. Up to eight heads, R450 each thereafter.

Written handover
What we installed, why, how to use it and how to undo it, written down and left with you. The knowledge belongs to the business, not to the supplier.
